OUGD504 - Studio Brief 2 Design for Screen Briefing

Deadline 7th Dec - 1:30 - 3:30 

*WHY IS DESIGN FOR SCREEN THE MOST APPROPRIATE METHOD OF PRODUCING THE CONTENT THAT I WANT TO PRODUCE??

*To create an immersive and engaging screen based user experience for a media of your choice
*Identify the - CLIENT, THE PROBLEM - what affect you in a daily basis, things that happen around you, TARGET AUDIENCE (create a persona for an audience? -  OVERARCHING THEME OF THE PROJECT.
*Write the brief (by the end of this week)
* Could find something that exist already or extensions and make something for/ from it. An added extra from a screen design e.g. facebook messenger, google extensions.

Considerations: Global? - digital format are viewed on global scale - may inform the decision as well.
mixed media? - combination of image, audio, video should/could be considered in design strategy.

Examples -

*Website - apps, how will the desktop be different from phone version?
*Editionsatplay - e-books, versions of books that can't be printed physically, *immersive play
*Universal Everything
*Flux - daylight changing app/background on computer

*What media will it be communicated by?  - format and how it's going to be delivered?
*Context - audiences, how and why will be they view it or consume it? what aspect of social life will it relate to? e.g. travelling, socialising?
*How will it be produced commercially? - consider cost etc.
*What technology to develop design process - wireframes, user flow, adobe XD, talk about relationship with developers. 
*LIMITATIONS - Evaluation (HAVE TO BE EXPLICIT). Evaluate potentials within graphics or commercial practice.
*Research to justify why something is needed.
*Animated design on blogs.


*Theories/ Designs - e.g. taking more than three clicks to get to a tab etc.
*Take into account how users can get on to a page or information that they need - user experience

*Storyboarding - skeleton of layouts (wireframes) how things will work.

*BY MONDAY - KNOW MY BRIEF TO CREATE WIRE FRAMES
