"Insult me all you want (Yo! I don't stop!)
Crazy Jiwon (Yo! I don't quit!)
An 8-ton truck with dysfunction brakes
Go broom broom, ready to boom!"
Other artist have used the phrase and the metaphor to their own accord such as:
- Gaeko of Dynamic Duo - "I'm an 8-ton truck with a dysfunctional wheel, my life always full of detours" (referring to the dysfunctional wheel to describe how goals cannot always be achieved but by taking detours
- Beenzino - "I don't have a driver's license but when I flow I'm an 8-ton truck with a functional wheel". (switching the metaphor to describe his stable rap flow)
- *and many more
2) Shoutouts to Birthplaces - Trio Rhythm Power released there song "The Battle of Incheon" which effectively implied regional codes to portray places like Wolmido Island which is near Incheon.
- Changmo - points out the people who criticised him by telling him to stop characterising his hometown Deoksori as Harlem.
- BTS - made a whole song dedicating to pointing out the advantages and key places in their hometowns like: Busan and Daegu. Three rappers in the group also has a song 'Satoori Rap' where they rapped completely in their native dialects.
3) Bilingual Rap - Korean rap has always incorporated some English phrases in their Korean raps. Though it can also be noted that early in Drunken Tiger's career, they reaped entirely in English due to their lack of Korean language knowledge. There are also Korean rappers who are fluent in English e.g. Tablo of Epic High and Beenzino who uses their fluency to create intricate rhymes in both languages as well as Korean-American rappers like Jay Park and Junoflo.
4) Korean Idioms/Mythical references- Korean idioms have been used by Korean rappers as metaphors to their original intentions making their rap sound cleverer and witty.
- Bulgasari - referring to a monster in Korean folklore that grows bigger by eating metal.
- Gumiho - nine tailed fox that can turn into a woman to seduce guys and eat their liver or heart.
5) Keyboard Warriors (or Bangguseok halyu) - refers to anonymous haters who post malicious comments about them online, often they do this in Internet rooms or cafes (they term can also be argued to have been popularised by Verbal Jint)
